While you did approve the estimates prior to us performing the repairs, we would still like for you to understand the repairs that were completed on your mother's door. Internet pricing does not always reflect the same materials that we provide. We would be happy to discuss the charges with you again if that would help. Quality service, but be aware of their exhorbent labor costs. Aaron performed the repair in a professional and courteous manner. My 100 year old mom needed the repair immediately to have access in/out of her house so we couldn't get other estimates. Precision charged a flat $200 just to determine what needed repaired; $188 for two torsion cables which costs around $44; $210 for 3 flanged ball bearings which costs about $30; and over $200 for 2, 10 inch drums. I called the company the next day and was told labor costs was included with each part replaced. It took less than 2 hours to perform the repair, costs my mom over $800 to install parts that probably costs less than $200. The math says that's about $300/hour for labor. If you have time, always get 3 estimates. Other contractors now told me should have been $500-$600 for this work. Just a word of caution.
